This was a quick two-night read for me. It was enjoyable from many aspects and J.A. Huss certainly knows how to do a build-up to get the sparks flying. I liked both of the main characters and I thought the whole French lingual spin was fun. So was realizing the kind of artistic photography studio it was... There were a few things that bugged me, namely that Rook was so okay with putting her face all over the place if she was trying to hide from someone. That little plot point kept nagging at me the whole story. Other than that, I thought the character exploration was well done, the modeling shoots were crazy hot and I look forward to reading more about Rook and Ronin in the upcoming sequel.
